Heel Bar Round Fullered - Riveted Strap
Like the Half Round Fullered, this buckle is struck with a bespoke, hand forged tool when its hot, which creates the decorative recesses. However, its heel bar makes it distinct from our other designs. Rather than the bar being fixed to the underside of the buckle using dedicated rivets, the heel bar is passed through the ends of the buckle and then set into place. This buckle has a hand-forged 5mm round pin.
We use 5-6mm (12-15oz) Oak Bark tanned Bridle Butt leather from J. & F.J. Baker, Britain’s only remaining traditional oak bark tannery.
For our riveted straps we use 8 guage (4mm) copper saddlers rivets, one of the oldest and strongest methods of fixing leather. Our riveted straps have a hand-forged stainless steel belt loop as standard.
Please note this belt has a 40mm (1 ⅝ inch) wide strap. Browse our 35mm (1 ⅜ inch) belts here.
The sizes shown are not your waist size! Before ordering please consult our size guide to ensure you order the correct size.
If you’re confused about our sizing please drop us a message - we’d be happy to help!
*It should be obvious by now but just a reminder we make everything from scratch, by hand. Due to this the texture and/or finish of each buckle will vary slightly. The plus side of this is that it means your belt will be completely unique to you!
