Original Double Pin - Riveted Strap

£225.00

The Original buckle has a complete, seamless construction. A substantial portion of the production time spent on this belt is dedicated to the rounded section at the heel, which is essential both to allow the pin to articulate on the buckle, and to allow the buckle to turn in the leather. To accomplish this, each Original buckle has to be cut meticulously by hammer and chisel on the anvil, and then filed to shape by hand.

The Original buckle that we sell has two pins as standard - we produce our single pin version exclusively for our (Hipster Twat) friends at HebTroCo (www.hebtro.co).

We use 5-6mm (12-15oz) Oak Bark tanned Bridle Butt leather from J. & F.J. Baker, Britain’s only remaining traditional oak bark tannery.

For our riveted straps we use 8 guage (4mm) copper saddlers rivets, one of the oldest and strongest methods of fixing leather. Our riveted straps have a hand-forged stainless steel belt loop as standard.

Please note this belt has a 40mm (1 ⅝ inch) wide strap. Browse our 35mm (1 ⅜ inch) belts here.

The sizes shown are not your waist size! Before ordering please consult our size guide to ensure you order the correct size.

If you’re confused about our sizing please drop us a message - we’d be happy to help!

*It should be obvious by now but just a reminder we make everything from scratch, by hand. Due to this the texture and/or finish of each buckle will vary slightly. The plus side of this is that it means your belt will be completely unique to you!
